The automated HYPE-long bot vs. just holding HYPE

−31.9% vs −11.5%
live 7-day return: the bot vs buy-and-hold, same capital
In plain English

Our automated HYPE bot lost almost three times as much as you’d have lost by simply buying HYPE and holding it over the same week.

What it needed
beat buy-and-hold on equal capital
What it got
−31.9% vs −11.5%, lost to holding
Why it's dead

It was just a leveraged bet on HYPE going up, with no real skill on top. Tuned to look clever on a stretch where the price kept trending, it fell apart the moment the market chopped sideways, and simply holding the coin lost a lot less.

The detail

Pre-registered live test on equal capital over a week where HYPE fell 11.5%. The bot returned −31.9%; buy-and-hold returned −11.5%. No config tuning rescued it, because there was no skill in it, just amplified exposure to the coin's own moves. The order-placement machinery underneath (it filled as a maker 80% of the time) was validated separately, and survived even though the strategy didn't.
